The March for Our Lives event on Saturday is going to be huge.

I do not know how they keep doing it, but these kids continue to impress me just about every day.

Usually this is where the media moves on from another senseless shooting to focus on other issues, but these students refuse to let that happen this time, and almost by sheer force of will they are keeping the debate alive.

  1. The House voted on the ominibus bill and it goes to the Senate tomorrow. I’m thinking they want to get it passed so they can get out of town before the march.

Yeah, This was a bogus budget deal, throwing us further in debt and not funding important public issues, the public servants should be required to stay and hear the kids out while fighting for the people's budget. We the people must demand that ALL public servants represent the people, not the NRA, Trump crime family nor their self interest. Shut down the government until the fraud and liar trump is removed.

NOW T-his>"Trump is holding a press event Friday, which is scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m. (ET).

He is expected to discuss whether he will sign a $1.3 trillion spending bill to avoid a government shutdown. White House officials have said that Trump plans to sign the bill, but the president himself threatened to veto it on Twitter this morning."

Yes! These techno-savvy student activists also have a very powerful weapon: many of them will be eligible to vote this fall! That alone should scare the bejesus out of the NRA and TRump.

I hope someone makes a similar video about Dana ('shark eyes') Loesch next. It's long overdue.

Poll: most Americans say gun ownership increases safety. Research: nope.

The research suggests that the presence of a firearm actually makes homes less safe.

After weeks of activism, planning, and preparation, the March for Our Lives is taking place on Saturday. More than 800 student-led marches for gun control are planned in defiance of the NRA and the GOP status quo.

The flagship march in Washington, D.C., alone is anticipating a turnout of 500,000, including 200 students, teachers, and chaperones from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School and other schools in Broward County.

The marches aren’t limited to the United States — people are marching in solidarity with the students’ cause on six continents, including places as far-flung as Iceland, Ghana, and Micronesia.

Ahead of the big day, activists have released a stirring video, telling the gun lobby and the lawmakers enabling them, “We see you.”

This is a remarkable interview, because these teenage kids from Parkland are more thoughtful and intelligent than most spokespeople you see on cable news. They're articulate, focused, and direct -- which is what you see when kids are properly and thoroughly educated. They have critical thinking skills, and they're using them to address gun control. They have already accomplished more in a few weeks than most people have done in years -- and they're not done yet.

Tucker Carlson Brings Sniper On To Scold March For Our Lives Organizers

...Fox News is quite upset by the prospect of a march, Tucker Carlson in particular, who has spent more air time slapping the organizers around than most other Fox hosts.

On Wednesday's show, Carlson brought a former Army sniper on to gunsplain things to victims of gun violence. Great job there, Tuckie.

    OT? SECRET SCIENCE!<WTF

According to an E&E News report, at a closed-door meeting at the Heritage Foundation earlier this month, Pruitt said he plans to change how the agency uses science to inform its work. he wants to limit the types of studies the agency can use to develop policies with rules modeled on the
HONEST Act, a bill championed by outgoing House science committee chair Rep. Lamar Smith (R-TX) to eliminate
    “secret science.”<KOCH BULL$HIT!
